
A third generation restaurateur, Chris is a veteran of the restaurant industry having served in numerous leadership positions for a variety of successful organizations for more than 20 years.
As the Chief Operating Officer of Fox and Hound, Chris directed the operational growth and nationwide expansion of this highly profitable and then publicly traded popular casual chain. Additionally, as the President of Stool Pigeons, Inc., Chris was directly responsible for the management of daily business affairs and company direction for two southeast regional chains. As a well rounded entrepreneur, Chris understands the daily hurdles of payroll, cash flow, operational execution and survival.
Today, Chris is recognized for his uncanny ability to shape and mold concepts, provide the framework of how best to open and operate organizations and teach owners and operators the skill set needed from concept launch to multi unit expansion. For more than 20 years Chris has studied and successfully implemented the lessons taught in The One Minute Manager and Raving Fans. Chris enjoys working with clients of all backgrounds and is equally comfortable engaging with companies on the Fortune 500 list as well as concepts and organizations in their infancy stage.
Recognized nationally for his ability to articulate exact game plans and roadmaps for operating a successful business, Chris speaks frequently around the country to packed crowds. This year, Chris was a "Featured Speaker" at the National Restaurant Show in Chicago, the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York, the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo in Los Angeles, and the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show in Orlando.
Chris is an Economics and Business Honors Program graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.A. degree in Business Management. Chris is an avid runner, having completed 27 marathons and counting. He brings that level of dedication and commitment to all BarFly clients.
